Refugee crisis can refer to difficulties and dangerous situations in the reception of large groups of forcibly displaced persons. The Syrian refugee crisis is the largest refugee and displacement crisis of our time. About 5.6 million Syrians are refugees, and another 6.2 million people are displaced within Syria. The vast majority of Syrian refugees has found safety in neighboring countries like Turkey, Jordan, and Lebanon.
